Our Pinot Noir fruit is grown at the Hamilton family vineyard which is located at the mouth of Jalama Valley in Santa Barbara County. With warm days and cool nights, this is an ideal location for Pinot Noir grapes. This small family owned vineyard is farmed by the Hamilton and Dascomb families in addition to many committed friends. Fermented in small, open top containers this wine was then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Our hand made Pinot Noir is very delicate, clean, and well balanced. Fruit and floral flavors are apparent all the way through to the finish. Look for strawberry, plum, and rose petals, accented with spice. The tannins are youthful, ample and enhanced by the hints of sweet fruit found on the middle palate. The finish is complex with hints of fruit and floral.
